PreCentral reports that a bunch of WebOS 2.0 screenshots are now available, revealing upcoming support for QuickOffice. The screenshots also reveal a new dialer, Synergy Accounts Manager, new enterprise features and a refreshed app launcher. All this comes in addition to the recent official announcement of WebOS 2.0.
WebOS 2.0 at a Glance
In the screenshots below, we see the integration and management of the new "Just Type" feature, an expanded universal search that includes a Quick Actions feature that let's users initiate a range of tasks such as creating a new message / e-mail or updating your status on social networks (see the App Launcher screenshots further down for more on Quick Actions integration and management). We also see the new dialer, expanded messaging options and Synergy Accounts Manager.
Productivity & Enterprise
Courtesy of the screenshots below, it's safe to say that WebOS 2.0 will aim to get HP back into the business and enterprise part of the smartphone world. It started with the Jornada handhelds, continued with the iPAQ handhelds and smartphones, and soon, HP will hit overdrive thanks to Palm's WebOS 2.0. Very interesting indeed.
App Launcher
In the screenshots below, we see the new App Launcher, which includes Quick Actions integration and management. It's also possible to customize the App Launcher with pages / categories of your choice. All in all, it looks like WebOS 2.0 will be robust also when it comes to on-board management.
