T-Mobile has the myTouch 3G HD in the pipeline, and an image reveals a front-facing Web camera.
One of the big questions among T-Mobile customers this summer: Why doesn't the Vibrant offer a front-facing Web camera and Flash? Well, it seems like T-Mobile may be saving those aspects to its own-branded myTouch 3G HD that is rumored to be released later this year. DroidDog has posted an image of the myTouch 3G HD, showing that the phone will at least get a front-facing camera.
Is the myTouch 3G HD T-Mobile's first HSPA+ phone?
T-Mobile recently created a teaser page for its first HSPA+ phone. The T-Mobile G1 Blaze was originally identified as the phone in question, a high-end QWERTY slider powered by Android. On the other hand, the myTouch 3G HD (should also be powered by Android) that has now emerged sounds like a top candidate as well.
T-Mobile customers should naturally hope that both smartphones hit store shelves sooner rather than later. The only official aspect of the carrier's "first HSPA+ phone" is the support for theoretical HSDPA speeds of up to 14.4Mbps. Obviously, that's not a whole lot of information, other than confirming that it'll step up from the typical 7.2Mbps and 10.2Mbps speeds normally seen in smartphones introduced this year.
T-Mobile clearly has something great up its sleeve that can't wait to be released though, so we guess we'll have to stay tuned for more updates on the carrier's teaser page.
