What's the best thing about a smartphone? Great content. What's the next best thing? Top-notch screen. The Samsung Vibrant covers both.
High-end smartphones should be fun and exciting right off the bat. "We love our customers," says Randy Meyerson, T-Mobile's Senior Product Manager for Android devices. On July 21, you'll get that love in form of the Samsung Vibrant Android smartphone, pre-loaded with content such as a custom T-Mobile version of EA's The Sims 3 as well as an optimized version of James Cameron's Avatar. Randy gives us more details on the Samsung Vibrant in the video below:
Samsung Vibrant Comes Packed with Content Opportunities
Beyond the pre-loaded content mentioned above, the Samsung Vibrant offers the new Amazon Kindle for Android application, providing direct access to more than 600,000 books, including a vast majority of The New York Times Best Sellers and new releases. Before consumers purchase a book, they can read the first chapter for free. With Kindle for Android, customers can also sync their reading with their other Kindle devices.
Furthermore, the Samsung Vibrant gets the MobiTV application for access to live and on-demand TV available in English and Spanish - including more than 35 channels of news, sports and entertainment. When Vibrant customers subscribe to MobiTV, their first 30 days of service will be free. There's also the Slacker Radio mobile application and GoGo Inflight Internet service.
More than 65,000 downloadable applications, games and widgets are also available through Android Market. The new Samsung Media Hub will also be available in the near future, providing a full library of video and literary content powered by some of the biggest names in entertainment.
