The new Samsung Gusto for Verizon Wireless sports a range of voice calling enhancements for the average cell phone user.
Verizon Wireless recently released two new cell phones: the Salute by ZTE and the Gusto by Samsung. The Salute is the carrier's first phone by ZTE, targeting the mainstream cell phone user. The Samsung Gusto pretty much falls into the same category, though it sports enhanced calling features compared to most phones of this kind.
Samsung Gusto Features
The Samsung Gusto clamshell phone features a 2-inch internal screen, VGA camera with night shot as well being VZ Navigator capable. That said, the Gusto gets a range of calling features that you may not normally see on this type of phone:
Dynamic Voice Enhancement technology with noise suppression technology to reduce background noise levels and enhance speech frequencies.
Driving Mode - changes the handset volume automatically to high, overrides vibrate settings, and reads contact information aloud when a call or message is received.
Fake Call feature - lets customers set up a pseudo call with a timer to manage social situations.
The Samsung Gusto also offers voice commands, including voice dial, send text, send picture, digit dial, text message readout, call announcement, My Verizon, check features, contacts, redial, GoTo, help and driving mode.

Price and Release Date
The Samsung Gusto is available now for $70 with a two-year contract. A $50 mail-in rebate will be given when signing up for a qualifying plan.
