| The Motorola Q9h Global is a puzzling phone, and AT&T seems to have taken just as many steps forward as backward from their first Q, the sequel to the CDMA model. The improved keyboard is a definite step forward, but the lack of a clickwheel or trackball is a step back. The choice of Opera and DataViz' Documents To Go is a step forward, but the bulkier design, especially with the extended life battery, is a step back. HSDPA networking is nice, but the GPS sensor was a real flop. In all, if the phone interests you, we think it would be important to know its flaws well, because there are some truly winning qualities to the device, but also some shortcomings that might be deal-breakers. |
