The LG Encore all-touch phone for AT&T is now available in stores, sporting a 3-inch touchscreen and 3-megapixel camera.
AT&T recently started selling the new LG Encore all-touch phone, targeting mainstream users looking for an affordable touchscreen phone. The LG Encore basically sits between the Samsung Eternity 2 and the Samsung Sunburst in terms of features and price point.
LG Encore Features
The LG Encore sports a 3-inch touchscreen with a 240 by 400 pixels resolution, 3-megapixel camera with video recording, and a microSD memory card slot supporting up to 16GB cards. There's also built-in Bluetooth connectivity and AGPS support. The LG Encore weighs in at 3 ounces and measures 4.13 by 2.09 by 0.47 inches.
As far as pre-loaded applications are concerned, the LG Encore gets AT&T Social Net, AT&T Address Book, as well as the new att.net browser utilizing Opera Software technology. The AT&T Social Net application provides quick access to popular social networks, while AT&T Address Book automatically syncs to an online address book when changes are made. The Encore's homescreen can also be customized.
