Toshiba releases new laptops for mobile professionals, ranging from 12.1- to 15.4-inch business laptops.
The new Toshiba Tecra M10, Tecra A10 and Tecra R10 business laptops were announced today, featuring Intel Centrino 2 with vPro processor technology, 7200 RPM hard drives and Nvidia Quadro NVS 150M graphics cards. The Toshiba Tecra R10 also boasts a LED backlit display, which reduces its thickness compared to laptops with standard CCFL backlighting systems. Three new Portege models were also announced today, including the Toshiba Portege M750, Portege A600 and the Portege R600. The Toshiba Portege M750 is a 10th generation Tablet PC, featuring a 12.1-inch LED backlit touchscreen display. The Toshiba Portege A600 is the company's new mainstream ultraportable, and the Portege R600 is the new high-end ultraportable laptop.
The Toshiba Portege R600 incorporates an enhanced LED backlit transflective display for better viewing angle and contrast, a durable chassis, and an improved keyboard. The touchpad has also been moved to the center and the buttons are claimed to feature a tighter, firmer and more solid design.
