In a few hours, we'll get all the details about the new Nokia 5800 touchscreen phone through a livecast open to everyone.
Nokia will today hold a press event in London, where the Nokia 5800 touchscreen phone will be officially announced. The event will be streamed live here, and will allow users to comment on the new stuff while it's being announced. In other words, if you've got strong opinions about this stuff, today is your chance to air your enthusiasm and/or frustrations in front of Nokia staff.
A few days ago, Nokia announced that they'll no longer develop business solutions (not that they have ever done so in large scale), and focus solely on consumer solutions such as consumer push e-mail as well as further strengthening its Ovi concept. The latter will play a vital role in the upcoming Nokia 5800 touchscreen phone, and it'll also offer the "Comes with Music" service. When buying a phone with "Comes with Music", you'll get free access to download music for one year.
The recently announced Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 will hit store shelves this month, and it's likely to believe that the Nokia 5800 will follow shortly after. Stay tuned for our coverage of the event later today.
