The new Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS superzoom and M1093 IS compact cameras feature 10-megapixel sensors and 720p HD video recording.
Eastman Kodak Company today announced the latest addition to its Z-series and M-series lines of digital cameras, the Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS (specs) and the Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS, both shooting up to 10-megapixels still images and 720p HD video.
Featuring a 15x Schneider-Kreuznack Variogon optical zoom lens with image stabilization, the Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS aims to offer a camera that can handle both long-distance and wide-angle shots. Kodak promises a click-to-capture speed of less than 0.22 seconds, and the Kodak Easyshare Z1015 comes equipped with a f/2.8 28mm wide-angle lens. To capture better photos in low light conditions, the camera offers an ISO range of 80 to 6400 (ISO 3200, 6400 available when shooting images at 3-megapixels or less).
The Kodak Easyshare Z1015 offers a range of advanced settings including program, aperture and shutter priority, as well as full manual mode (PASM). The camera also incorporates Kodak's Smart Capture feature, which adjusts the camera's settings automatically by identifying the scene.
The Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS will be available from September 2008 at $350.
The Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS is a digital camera aimed at style-conscious users, sporting a sleek profile combined with features such as Kodak's Smart Capture, ISO 3200, image stabilization, face detection and a 3x optical zoom. The Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS will retail for $200 when it becomes available in September 2008.
