The Motorola ZN5 5-megapixel camera phone boasts support for continuous shooting, Wi-Fi connectivity, 350MB internal memory and a TV-out port.

Motorola and Kodak today announced the Motorola ZN5 (specs), a new candybar phone featuring a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus. Equipped with Quad-band GSM and EDGE support, the Motorola ZN5 will be released in China in July 2008. Other countries should follow throughout the year.

The Motorola ZN5 sports a Kodak lens, Xenon flash, multi-shot mode, low-light setting and a shutter speed of 1/60 to 1/1000 seconds in auto mode. It also offers a panorama feature which automatically matches continuous shots taken on horizon line into a single image.

Pictures are stored on the Motorola ZN5's internal memory of 350MB or by using the built-in microSD memory slot supporting up to 4GB cards. Pictures can also be shared with friends and family, either via EDGE or by transferring pictures to the bundled Kodak Easyshare PC software.

The Motorola ZN5 comes with built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/i and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack and a 2.4" display capable of showing 262K colors at a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels. It also offers a TV-out port, FM radio and supports MP3, WMA audio formats and MPEG4, H263 video formats for multimedia playback.

In phone mode, the Motorola ZN5 also boasts CrystalTalk technology to help callers hear and be heard, and also supports SMS, MMS, Instant Messaging and personal e-mail. The Motorola ZN5 also offers a new Linux-based "full HTML" browser.

Measuring 4.7 by 2 by 0.63 inches and weighing in at 4 ounces, the Motorola ZN5 will be available as an unlocked phone in the United States later this year.
