During a 2008 SIG event in New York, LG showcased the LG Dare VX9700, LG Decoy VX8610 and LG Chocolate 3 for Verizon Wireless.

The rumors about the LG Dare VX9700 and LG Decoy VX8610 have been swirling lately, and the two cell phones were today officially unveiled alongside the new LG Chocolate 3. Showcased at the 2008 SIG Holiday Gift Guide event at the Tavern on the Green in New York City, were also several new Bluetooth enabled accessories.

The LG Decoy VX8610 is a slider phone with a detachable Bluetooth wireless headset on its back. The LG Decoy VX8610 boasts a mirror-like finish and five-way directional "joystick" on the front. In addition to Bluetooth 2.0, V Cast and VZ Navigator support, the LG Decoy VX8610 will feature a microSD slot and a 2-megapixel camera. The LG Decoy VX8610 is scheduled to be released on June 16.

The LG Chocolate 3 has received a clamshell form factor, and features 1GB of internal memory, a microSD slot supporting 8GB memory cards, a 2-megapixel camera and V Cast support. The LG Chocolate 3 is expected to be available on Verizon Wireless in July 2008.

The LG Dare VX9700 is an all-touch phone relying on a software QWERTY keyboard for text input, and sports a 3.2-megapixel camera as well as V Cast and VZ Navigator support. Furthermore, the LG Dare VX9700 will offer a photo editing tool and social network sharing capabilities. According to Verizon Wireless, the LG Dare VX9700 features an intuitive and graphical contact list allowing customers to find the right number with the flick of a finger for texting, e-mailing and phoning. Favorite contacts is claimed to be reached with a drag and drop photo interface. The LG Dare VX9700 is expected to make its debut on Verizon Wireless' network this summer.

The LG HFB-500 Bluetooth car-kit speakerphone claims up to 16 hours of talk time and the headpiece can be solar charged, with 30 minutes of talk time, for every 3 hours of sunlight.

The LG HBS-250 Bluetooth stereo headset is claimed to offer up to six hours of talk time, and features a movable E-clip ear-bud that lets users adjust the piece for a better fit.

The LG MSB-100 Bluetooth stereo speakers is claimed to offer up to 20 hours of talk time, or 15 hours of music time. Other features include auto reconnect, speakerphone and music controls such as play, stop, fast forward and rewind.

All above-mentioned Bluetooth accessories will be available this summer.
