Several carriers currently prepare both upgrades of existing and launches of new QWERTY phones. Check out what's brewing in the QWERTY phone world right now.

Word on the street has it that the Helio Ocean 2 will be announced soon, and T-Mobile today confirmed that that an upgraded T-Mobile Sidekick LX with improved multimedia support will be launched this summer.

In addition, since the introduction of Windows Mobile 6.1 a few months ago, there have been quite a few WinMo users waiting in anticipation for a free upgrade. The smartphones that are so far confirmed to receive upgrades: HTC Tilt, Samsung BlackJack II, Motorola Q9 global and Pantech Duo on AT&T Wireless, as well as the Motorola Q9c, Samsung Ace, HTC Touch and HTC Mogul on Sprint. Now might be a good time to get in touch with your carrier to get more information.
