LG's new range of home theater systems that was initially previewed at CES 2008 is now available in retail stores.
LG's new home theater audio systems (models LHT888, LHT874, LHT854, LFD850 and LFA840) features enhanced sound quality and touch sensing controls. All models are now available through national retail stores, such as Best Buy, Circuit City and other leading electronics retailers.
LG's LHT888 DVD Home Theater System offers a slim and elegant form. The system sports wireless rear speakers, 700w 5.1-channel DVD receiver, 1080p up-scaling via HDMI, USB Media Plus as well as LG SimpLink multi-device control (HDMI-CEC) and playback compatibility with MP3, JPEG and MPEG file formats. The LG LHT888 has a suggested retail price of $650.

LG's new 5-Disc DVD Home Theater System (LHT874) and Single Disc DVD Home Theater System (LHT854) offer playback options such as iPod and USB Media Plus connectivity, 1080p up-scaling and LG SimpLink. The LHT874 also features wireless rear speakers and HDMI input. The LG LHT874 and the LHT854 carry suggested retail prices of $480 and $300 respectively.
 LG LHT874 5-Disc DVD Home Theater System
LG's Micro DVD Home Theater System (LFD850) and Shelf CD Audio System (LFA840) allow playback from an iPod dock, and the LDF850 additionally offers a USB Media Plus port. The LFD850 also sports 2.1 Channel 160w audio outputs, and is claimed to automatically adjust volume levels based on the acoustics in the room. The LG LFD850 and the LFA840 have suggested retail prices of $300 and $230 respectively.
