A North American version of the HTC Touch Dual, featuring a slide-out numerical keypad, arrives in Best Buy stores.

HTC yesterday let us know that the HTC Touch Dual NAM (North American Version), powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, should finally be available in Best Buy stores.

When we reviewed the original HTC Touch Dual last year, we found it to be a pretty good smartphone. However, for users in need of a hardware QWERTY keyboard for rapid text input, the HTC Touch Dual NAM is obviously failing to deliver just like its European counterpart. Stay tuned for our upcoming review of this new contender though.

The HTC Touch Dual NAM operates on AT&T Wireless' GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and HSDPA 850/1900 MHz network, and boasts HTC features like the TouchFLO interface and Live HTC Home screen.

The HTC Touch Dual NAM is available through Best Buy's online store, retail locations as well as select Best Buy Mobile locations for $550 (unlocked).
