For a long time, Research In Motion's BlackBerry smartphones owned the talk time charts, but that's about to seriously change.
All carriers now offer unlimited plans, but you'll obviously also need a phone that can handle increased usage without having to recharge twice a day.
Several of Research In Motion's BlackBerry smartphones have provided great talk time in our extensive testing, but Asus' brand new P527 recently claimed the "best talk time" title. The main drawback for the P527, however, is its $550 price tag. If an advanced OS like Windows Mobile or an excellent GPS navigator is not what you are looking for, the P527 is simply a no go.
Sony Ericsson's new Z750 on AT&T, on the other hand, offers great talk time for only $50 with a two-year contract, a deal that's pretty much unbeatable at the time of writing. Business users looking for a combo of advanced e-mail capabilities and great talk time, should consider the BlackBerry and Motorola smartphones below.
