The LG enV2 consumer QWERTY phone will finally arrive in stores tomorrow, offering a combination of messaging and multimedia features.

Verizon Wireless today announced the release of the LG enV2, available on April 30 at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores across the nation. The new phone features a slim redesign of the original LG enV (compare technical differences) and will also be sold at Circuit City and online at Verizon Wireless' webshop.

The LG enV2 targets on-the-go texters and multimedia fans, and should be available in black and maroon. In addition to supporting a full range of Verizon Wireless' multimedia and GPS services, the LG enV2 comes pre-loaded with instant messaging applications such as AIM, WL Messenger and Yahoo! Access to e-mail services includes Yahoo! Mail, Windows Live Mail, AOL, AIM and Verizon.net accounts; or users may configure personal POP3 and IMAP accounts.

Sporting a full QWERTY keypad with larger keys than the predecessor, 2.4" screen and a 2-megapixel camera, the LG enV2 weighs in at 4.23 ounces and measures 4 by 2.13 by 0.65 inches. LG claims a respectable 5-hour talk time, and connectivity options include Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0. A microSD slot with support for up to 8GB cards have also been incorporated, though Verizon Wireless as usual refrain from including a card of any size in the sales package.

The LG enV2 will be available on April 30, selling for $130 after a $50 rebate with a new two-year Verizon Wireless contract.
