Usually hidden behind carrier brands, and even some manufacturer line-ups, HTC holds the key to some of the best QWERTY smartphones on the market.

Though HTC's line of Touch smartphones based on software QWERTY input have yet to perform well in our extensive testing, the Taiwanese manufacturer has a pretty nice selection of smartphones with QWERTY thumbboards. HTC even released a budget smartphone based on a SureType thumbboard earlier this year, which in large parts delivers the goods. Here are the currently five best HTC phones with QWERTY thumbboards on the market:
