Following the popular LG Chocolate and LG Shine cell phones, LG today introduced the LG Secret series. The LG KF750 for Europe is the first one to go.

LG launched the third LG Black Label Series handset, the LG Secret KF750 touchscreen slider phone, in London today. Following the popular LG Chocolate and LG shine, also the third model from the LG Black Label Series focuses on a stylish design.

LG Secret is supposed to always look new thanks to the materials incorporated into the phone. Carbon fiber should add to the handset's durability, and tempered glass shields the front LCD. Further adding to its design concept, Neon Touch Navigation buttons respond to commands with illustrious effects in lavish blue.

Sporting a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus (in an ultra-slim profile at 11.8mm), the LG Secret KF750 can take pictures with sensitivity up to ISO800 and shoot QVGA videos at 120 fps. Included camera features are Morphing (facial editing) and SmartLight, that automatically adjusts a picture's light settings. Users can also take advantage of the Movie Maker Software in the handset to create their own music videos.

Entertainment features include Touch Media that takes advantage of the touch screen to directly access five multimedia functions in a single button - music, photos, games, documents and FM radio. Users can simultaneously flick through photos on the screen while listening to music. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files can be opened and the handset is loaded with a Google Package that enables the user to surf the mobile Internet, log into Gmail, use Google Maps and watch YouTube videos. Also inside are motion games that have a gyroscope-like effect enabled by the accelerometer sensor. With a tilt or rotation of the handset, the user can throw a dart, hook a fish or navigate a maze.

LG Secret KF750 also supports Bluetooth 2.0, and the auto rotating display shifts the image on the screen for viewing in any position. By holding the phone horizontally, the view will switch from narrow to wide mode. Auto Luminance Control adjusts the screen lighting automatically, and Voice Clarity technology is claimed to improve sound quality during voice calls.

The flip phone's DivX certified media player is backed by a microSD (4GB) memory slot, and supports a range of file formats including MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC++, WMA and RA for audio, and MPEG4, WMA, H.263, H.264 and RV for video.

Measuring 103 by 51 by 11.8 mm and weighing 116 grams, the LG Secret KF750 sports a 2.4" QVGA (262K colors) as well as USB 2.0. LG claims a talk time of approximately 4 hours for the LG Secret KF750.

The LG Secret KF750 begins its launch in Europe, with a version operating on GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz and 3.6 Mbps HSDPA 2100 MHz networks, followed by launch events in the rest of the world later on. There's no specific information for a version to be released with U.S. network capabilities at the time of writing. However, given the popularity of the LG Chocolate and the LG Shine, it's most likely a matter of time before U.S. carriers will begin offering their own versions of the LG Secret.
