The Asus Lamborghini phone is sleek and angular, just like the cars whose brand it shares. It isn't a small phone, so it feels a bit large and clunky in the hand, but it does have a definite style going for, and most of the quality parts are under the hood. Most significantly, Asus has given the Windows Mobile 6.1 interface a graphical update, including the dashboard-like Today screen you can see in our photo gallery. The phone gets a few enhanced touch menus, which does make Windows Mobile easier to use, but in our hands-on time with the device, we never forgot that it was a Microsoft OS in front of us. Thankfully, the phone gets 3G networking and a 450MHz processor, which means it should be able to keep up, but it won't be the fastest phone on the street. With GPS for navigation and a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, this phone is definitely a high-end smartphone, but as the Asus flagship, and with such a luxury brand attached (no to mention the luxurious, €1,000 price tag), we would expect nothing less than a phone maxed out on features, and perhaps much thinner and smaller, too. The paint job doesn't even seem very Lamborghini, unlike the Motorola Ferrari phone we saw a few months back. Release: August 2008. Price: $1500.
Pros: Improved interface, fast processor, GPS and 3-megapixel, autofocus camera.
Cons: Kind of large for a sports car phone. Not as feature-rich as we expected.
