Supporting only Europe's two mobile TV standards, DVB-CBMS and OMA-BCAST, we have no doubt that we'll never see the Samsung SGH-P960 on U.S. soil, but as more network carriers roll out mobile networks stateside, its always fun to see what lies ahead. The P960 plays mobile TV very smoothly on its 2.6" QVGA screen. If you haven't seen mobile TV in action, check out our video, it's really better than you think. The P960 includes a picture-in-picture tuner, which is almost comical on such a small device, though perhaps sports fans can find it useful. The Samsung P960 also pauses TV shows when getting incoming calls through a time-shifting feature. The phone will first become available in Netherland and will continue to be adopted in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Release: June 2008.
Pros: Picture-in-picture tuning for two shows at once. Time-shifting pauses TV shows when getting incoming calls
Cons: Never coming to the U.S.
