Samsung's F400 music phone has real sound potential with Bang & Olufsen's ICEpower technology on board. We heard the F400's older sibling, the i450, playing loud and clear, and though the phone wouldn't fool you into thinking it was a full stereo, it was quite an impressive speaker for such a small device. The SGH-F400 also packs a few nice extra features, like a 3-megapixel camera and 3.6Mbps HSDPA, but we wish Samsung had done more with the interface. The i450 has a UI that pairs nicely with the design, while the F400's dual-slide action seems more like a convenience than a design element. Release: June 2008.
Pros: Great sound (for a small speaker) from Bang & Olufsen technolgy. 3-megapixel camera. Fast HSDPA networking.
Cons: Bland interface, especially for media. We need two of these dual-slide speaker phones now?
