We probably would have been more impressed by the LG KF700's touch interface if we hadn't seen nearly the same concept on LG's Prada phone. But even if the interface doesn't wow you, the advanced specs should. Beyond the high-end camera and fast networking, the LG KF700 boasts a slide-out keypad as well as a nice thumb wheel around back. Neither really helped the experience much in our hands-on tests, mostly because the interface was just about as easy to use without them. Still, a QWERTY keyboard is what we really wanted, and with all the other phones announced at the show, we're sure we can find such a design elsewhere. Release: April 2008. Price: $450.
Pros: Touchscreen, thumbwheel, keypad for input. 3-megapixel camera with autofocus. 7.2Mbps HSDPA.
Cons: Maybe the keypad and thumbwheel aren't so necessary? We'd rather see a QWERTY and more dynamic interface.
