The G700 features to-level sticky notes to keep you organized, as well as a slew of multimedia features. Do stickies make the UIQ interface easier to use?

The Sony Ericsson G700 marks a departure for the company from Walkman music phones and CyberShot camera phones to, um, StickyNote phones? Seriously, we actually liked the improved UIQ interface, and the touch sensitive screen read our stylus input nicely. Of course, it found our handwriting mostly illegible, but that could be our fault. With a 2.4-inch screen and a 3-megapixel camera, this is a serious phone, and we definitely liked the included media player and tab-style standby screen. But how about some 3G? Release: May 2008. Price: $440.
Pros: Convenient sticky notes on top. Improved UIQ interface. Full-featured, no skimping on megapixel or screen size.
Cons: No 3G networking. Couldn't read our handwriting. Will sticky notes really sell phones?
