During a press preview in Las Vegas today, Logitech unveiled several new accessories such as the Z Cinema Advanced Surround System.
To address the needs of people using a PC as their primary source of entertainment, Logitech today unveiled the Logitech Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System. The Z Cinema speaker system reproduces dialogue, symphonic film soundtracks, gaming audio and ambient sound, aiming to transforming PC audio into theater sound.
The system features SRS TruSurround HD, which is claimed to deliver a surround sound experience without the need for a traditional surround sound setup. The 180-watt Z Cinema speaker system uses hybrid amplification to create a balanced listening experience, and is powered by a three-amplifier design with a digital crossover equalizer.
The Z Cinema speaker system also includes a Media Center remote control, and will be available for $300 in January 2008.

Logitech today also introduced the diNovo Mini palm-sized keyboard with media remote and ClickPad. Designed for people who have connected their PC to their TV, the keyboard aims to make it easy to control PC entertainment from the sofa. The diNovo Mini features backlighting and a new ClickPad, which can be used as a touch pad to point, scroll and click -- or as a directional pad to navigate menus and make selections. The mini-keyboard uses Bluetooth 2.0 for long-range wireless control. The diNovo Mini will be available for $150 in February 2008.

A new Harmony One universal remote control and the new cordless MX 5500 Revolution keyboard were also announced. The former sports a 2.2-inch color touch screen that uses capacitive technology, while the latter utilizes Bluetooth 2.0 for extended wireless connectivity. Both products will be available in February 2008, and should sell for $250 and $170, respectively.
