New 4GB flash drive will automatically transfer all copied files to online storage.

Less than a week before the Consumer Electronics Show is set to begin, SanDisk announced on Wednesday the new Cruzer Titanium Plus, a 4GB flash drive that will automatically transfer the copied files to online storage. The first six months of the service are free, after that customers must pay $30 a year.

The online service itself is powered by BelnSync, a private Israeli company specializing in data synchronization, and storage space is provided by Amazon Web Services, a subsidiary of Amazon.com. The drive waits for an Internet connection and then transfers all data to your password-secured account.

The Titanium Plus, which is just a notch below SanDisk's flagship Cruzer Contour line, comes with its own device password encryption and hardware AES encryption to protect sensitive data. Also included is two years of free service from BoomerangIt, a service where you affix labels to your equipment that offers cash rewards for lost goods in hopes that people will mail the items back to you.

The Cruzer Titanium Plus retails for $60 and is available now.
