Nokia's site is maintaining secrecy on the highly-anticipated new N82, but between the rumor mill and the official pics we grabbed from the manufacturer's press site, we have a good idea of what to expect from tomorrow's launch in Helsinki. Pictures of the Nokia N82 show a shiny, silver phone, with familiar S60 buttons and menus. Around back, we find a Carl Zeiss lens marked for a 5-megapixel sensor and auto-focus capabilities, with a Xenon flash to boot.
Screenshots also show Wi-Fi for WLAN access, and 3G networking, which in Europe means HSDPA. Of course, the front-facing camera means that this phone isn't being built with an American audience in mind, so if it does come Stateside, it will be an import, and probably won't support the U.S. HSDPA bands.
With such a good shooter on board, we expect a host of high-end imaging features, like VGA video recording at 30fps, as well as video out capabilities. We see picture blogging and video upload features on the phone as well. Other screenshots show GPS navigation, with maps provided by Tele Atlas, though Nokia could announce support for a new GPS service as well. Also, a 2GB microSD card will be bundled in the sales package.
The Nokia N82 is available in Europe now, selling for approximately 450 Euro.
