With the NV-USBW, Nuvo adds USB-connected wireless G connectivity to their massive music server.

NuVo Technologies has introduced a new accessory for their NV-M3 Music Server, a wireless USB syncing device that enables homeowners and installers to sync music from PCs throughout the home to the server without a hard-wired connection.

The Wireless USB Syncing Device (NV-USBW) provides a USB device Wi-Fi connectiong over 802.11g that Nuvo says is specially "tuned" for the NV-M3. The addition of wireless functionality allows M3 users to avoid the arduous task of threading NV-M3 connection wire to points throughout the home at the start of a new home install job.

The M3 music server features three source outputs, a 160 GB hard drive, NuVoNet Communication and Windows Media Player music management (with full Digital Rights Management compliance), albeit at a whopping $2,200. The NV-M3 is compatible with standard compressed and non-compressed files in WMA, MP3 and WAV.

The NV-USBW Wireless USB Syncing Device will be available in December for an MSRP of $400.
