Bang & Olufsen's new BeoSound 6 player is now available in stores, offering 4GB storage capacity and iTunes support.
Bang & Olufsen announces the arrival of its new MP3 player, aimed at those who seek the ultimate sound quality while listening to their favorite digital music files. Measuring 91 by 43 by 12 mm and weighing 65 g, the BeoSound 6 is surrounded by a stainless steel frame and featuring a black soft-touch lacquered surface and a black scratch-resistant glass display (1.8", 128 x 160 pixels).
The BeoSound 6 is claimed to provide very clear and pure CD sound quality due to high performance on signal to noise playback, when playing MP3, WMA or OGG audio files.
Bang & Olufsen claims a playback time of up to 40 hours, and the BeoSound 6 has a storage capacity of 4GB. The MP3 player will connect to both PC and Mac based operating systems, and supports iTunes via a plug-in.
The BeoSound 6 will be delivered with a leather case and is available now for $600.
