The iMT521 SoundBlade highlights Altec Lansing's newest release of portable speaker systems.
Altec Lansing has announced a series of new portable Bluetooth and corded speaker systems for MP3 enabled mobile phones, iPods, laptops and other portable digital devices, in addition to their latest PC speaker system for flat-panel displays.
The iMT521 SoundBlade Stereo Bluetooth speaker system, a sound panel that features dual 2” full-range speakers and stereo Bluetooth, is equipped with AVRCP for two-way remote volume, mute and track forward/back controls from a cellular handset.It also packs a built-in echo-canceling microphone for wireless speakerphone capability. The “blade-like” design measures 6.125” H x 11.125” W x 1.0” D and supports both AC and battery (AA) power.
The iMT521 SoundBlade will be available in November 2007 for an MSRP of $130.
Altec Lansing’s iMT207 Orbit-M and iM207 Orbit-MP3 portable speaker systems feature Fusion360 technology, integrating a cone design with a 40mm speaker driver while weighing only 8 oz. The Orbit is shock resistant and uses AAA batteries for up to 24 hours of continuous play time.
The Orbit-M and Orbit-MP3 feature a 3.5mm connector for iPhones and most MP3 players, while the Orbit-M also includes a 3.5 mm-to-2.5 mm adapter for most music phones
The Altec Lansing iMT207 Orbit-M and iM207 Orbit-MP3 will both be available in October 2007 for an MSRP of $40.
Altec Lansing and Nokia have co-developed the new iMT217 Nōbi speaker as a stereo system accessory to Nokia’s new XpressMusic series of MP3-enabled mobile phones. The portable speaker system weighs only 10 oz., and when coupled via the 3.5mm connector to a Nokia XpressMusic mobile phone or any other audio device, offers offer 24 hours of audio play time on AAA batteries.
The iMT217 Nöbi will be available in October 2007 for an MSRP of $40.
Altec Lansing’s new FX3020 SoundBar speaker system is a one-piece, low-profile rectangular speaker system with a built-in sfx (sound field expander). It has a single in/out cable to remove wire tangles and clutter with side-positioned auxiliary input and headphone jacks allow easy connection and access. A single knob handles all controls, including on/off, volume and mute.
Altec Lansing’s new FX3020 SoundBar will be available in October 2007 for an MSRP of $100.
