Computer accessory company combines iPod speakers with motion- and light-sensing technology and a digital AM/FM radio.

Logitech's has just announced their new bedroom audio system, the Made For iPod Pure-Fi Dream. An iPod-playing alarm clock centered around light and motion sensing technology, the "bedroom music system" is supported by 3/4" tweeters and 3" long-throw woofers.

One of the more interesting features of the Pure-Fi Dream are its motion-sensitive, back-lighted control buttons that automatically light up when the user waves a hand over the top of the speaker. Conveniently enough, the buttons automatically dim when you're done. But probably the most convenient use of the Pure-Fi Dream's motion-sensitivity is it's virtual snooze button; instead of hitting a button, one can simply wave a hand over the speakers to sleep for a few more minutes. Of course, there is a regular snooze button for those with old-school inclinations.

In addition to the motion-sensors, Pure-Fi Dream also has a light-sensitive, automatically adjusting display that brightens during the day and dims at night. The display shows the time and date as well as iPod track information, all without emitting any ambient light.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream comes with a remote control and built-in back-up battery; it is expected to be available in the U.S. in November 2007 at an MSRP of $250.
