Gaming-centric computer manufacturer Alienware has released the Area-51 m5550 Quick Ship, a special edition notebook that ships within two business days of payment confirmation and validation.
The 15.4" notebook packs an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2GHz processor and 2GB of memory and ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1400 graphics card into it's alien head-emblazoned case. Marketed towards students heading back to school in the fall, the m5550 also has an 802.11g wireless card, a 160GB 5400 RPM hard drive and a 8X Dual Layer CD-RW/DVD±RW drive.
The m5550 Quick Ship starts at $1,699 and is available now.
