We took a close look at a pre-production Luna, the classy new slider from Nokia that updates the Nokia 8800 fashion phone.
We wished there was a more polished model to look at, because the Luna we got our hands on at an event earlier this summer lacked some of the poetry we were expecting. Though the Symbian S40 interface looks great on the sharp screen, Nokia reps weren't able to reliably demonstrate the glowing pulse of the numbers, which shows off the smoky plastic lens cover that slides over the keypad. Still, the phone had a solid build, and quad-band GSM, so we'll probably see it for sale unlocked in the states, albeit for a hefty price tag.
