Exclusive: Phones offering great connectivityBy Sindre Lia, 10 July 2007
Whether you want to surf the Web at top speed, or just transfer your camera phone pics in a hurry, we take a detailed look at the phones that offer the best options for getting connected.

A slew of phones come with great options for connecting calls, synchronizing with your desktop and accessing the Web. We've divided the options as follows:

  • Cellular for internet connectivity
  • Wi-Fi for internet connectivity
  • Bluetooth for short-range connectivity
  • USB for high-speed file transfer

HTC's Mogul on Sprint and AT&T's 8525 are the two phones that provide the best connectivity options, all in all. Motorola, on the other hand, impresses with early adoption of 3.6 Mbps HSDPA support. Über-phones such as Apple's iPhone and Nokia's N95 only support EDGE networks, but with a theoretical speed of 0.5 Mbps, they still hang in there.
