The company's software update for the N800 will feature support for Skype, more memory and Adobe Flash 9.
Nokia N800 Internet Tablet owners can now download a free software update that will let them make Skype calls when connected to Wi-Fi. According to Nokia, Skype will work similarly to the way it does on a computer, and will feature chat, presence and contact details.
The updates to the N800 will also include Adobe Flash 9 plug-in, which will improve Web browsing, especially for media-rich sites. The company claims that it will also enhance your experience when using video streaming services such as YouTube.
Finally, the Nokia's update to the N800 will expand its memory card support. The tablet will now be able to support up to 8GB cards, up from 2GB. The N800 packs in two SD slots so you can have a total of 16GB of storage for your music and videos. The media player has also upgraded with a clearer user interface. According to Nokia, the tablet's touch screen sensitivity has been improved, along with its battery life.
