Dell's new Latitude D430 is a 12-inch widescreen ultraportable notebook, designed for all-day computing on-the-go. The system offers 3G connectivity from the major carriers, as well as integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity.
The system is available with the option of Intel Core 2 Duo processors, and also sports hard drive protection and security solutions to prevent unauthorized access. An optional solid state drive can, according to Dell, improve the notebook's performance by up to 23 percent and reduce the boot time by up to 34 percent.
Weighing approximately three pounds, the Latitude D430 retails for $1,500 US and above.
Dell also introduced the Precision M4300 mobile workstation, featuring integrated 3G access, 802.11n Wi-Fi and up to 4 GB of internal memory. The Precision M4300 retails for $1,750 US and above.
