Both manufacturers unleash a trio of bags for your laptop in varying styles and designs.

Accessory manufacturers Belkin and Targus both released a bevy of bags to cater to your laptop. First up from Belkin is its Sling, which features an inner lining that protects laptops from scratches, along with a contoured, padded shoulder strap with a quick release clip, a separate pouch for cables and chargers and a cell phone pocket. The Sling fits up to a 15-inch laptop and comes in two flavors, jet with cabernet accents and chocolate with tourmaline accents. The Belkin Sling is available immediately and costs $50.

Next up is Belkin's Messenger bag, which also has compartments for cables and power adaptors. The Messenger comes in two sizes that can either fit up to a 15.4-inch laptop or a 17-inch notebook. The 15.4-inch bag offers a plethora of color options, including jet with cabernet or dove with peony. The 17-inch bag, on the other hand, only comes in two color options. Both sizes are currently available and retail for $50.

Rounding out Belkin's cases is its Sleeve, which comes in 14-inch, 15.4-inch and 17-inch models. The Sleeve features an asymmetrical zipper that allows for both side and top access. It's offered in four colors. Like the Messenger, the Sleeve won't cost extra for bigger sizes and retails for $35.

Targus also debuted a trio of bags, including the Shield Backpack, which is available in red, black and gray polyester, and features a water-resistant bottom for extra protection for your laptop. Like the Belkin bags, the Targus Shield Backpack has plenty of storage compartments for MP3 players, pens, a cell phone and ID, as well as a carabineer clip for keys. The Shield Backpack comes in two different sizes that fit 15.4 and 17-inch laptops, and retails for $80.

Targus' Shield line also features a Messenger bag that can fit laptops up to 15.4 inches. The black-and-blue nylon bag also has sections for pens, music players and ID. You can pick up a Shield Messenger for $60.

Targus also announced its Flare Backpack, which will soon be hitting store shelves. Like the Shield Backpack, the Flare Backpack has a plethora of storage compartments for water bottles, a cell phone, ID, pens and keys. The Backpack also features bungee accents, zipper pulls that can be locked and a water-resistant bottom. The black-and-gray Flare Backpack also comes in two sizes to fit 15.4 and 17-inch laptops. The bags will set you back $60 and $70 respectively.
