Claiming the title of the world's thinnest ultraportable notebook with a 13-inch display, Dell today announced the XPS M1330. Coming in three color choices, including Tuxedo Black, Pearl White or Crimson Red, the XPS M1330 weighs in at 3.97 pounds and is claimed to be only 0.9 inches thick.
Despite its slimness, the XPS M1330 packs in a Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce Go 8400M GS graphics card with 128 MB dedicated memory, a 13.3-inch widescreen display (1280 x 800 pixels resolution) and 802.11g Wi-Fi connectivity.
The XPS M1330 also sports touch sensitive media buttons, an integrated 8-in-1 media card reader, as well as an HDMI port, two USB ports, IEEE 1394a and dual headphone jacks. Dell has also found room for an integrated webcam with dual digital microphones and noise-isolation earbuds.
Optionally, the configuration can also be upped to include a fingerprint reader as well as mobile broadband from Sprint or Verizon Wireless (EV-DO Rev. A) or AT&T (HSDPA).
The Dell XPS M1330 is priced from $1,300 US for a standard configuration.
