New mouse features a fingerprint scanner so you don't have to remember dozens of passwords for security.
As we live in a world where identity theft is a growing concern and possibility, beefing up the security on your computer has become increasingly important. IOGEAR released its Personal Security Mouse, which features a fingerprint scanner to enhance the security on your PC. The mouse can store up to five different user identities, and can be used to protect specific files on your computer or when logging in making it a nice option for family and business computers.
The Personal Security Mouse can also store user names and passwords for various Web sites so that you can just scan your fingerprint instead of remembering dozens of different password and username combinations. The mouse comes with an installation CD and is compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista.
The Personal Security Mouse's silver and gray paint has antimicrobial properties to repel bacteria. It has a scroll wheel and includes the fingerprint scanner below the wheel. The mouse is available immediately and retails for $90.
