The XpressR features a split screen display and the entry-level XpressEZ offers up simplicity with a budget price tag.
Audiovox unleashed a pair of satellite radios, the XpressR and XpressEZ that support XM radio service. The XpressR is the higher-end model of the two, but both radios are pretty mid-range. The XpressR includes a split screen display that lets you see current song information on one side and five other channels on the other. The radio also includes a 30 minute buffer feature that saves the last 30 minutes of programming so you can rewind it and hear certain parts again, even if you've since switched stations. The feature also lets you pause programming and resume it within 30 minutes. The XpressR offers up to 30 presets, alerts for when your favorite song or artist is being played on a different station, as well as a stock ticker. The radio's display adjusts the backlighting so that the screen is viewable during the day and night.
The Audiovox XpressEZ isn't as feature-packed as the XpressR, but it still offers access to XM's service, along with a three-line display for song and station information. The XpressEZ also includes presets for up to 10 channels.
The XpressR and the XpressEZ are available immediately and retail for $130 and $70 respectively.
