Sling Media's new adapters let you connect ethernet devices without long cables or Wi-Fi.

Sling Media introduced its SlingLink Turbo devices, which allow you to connect your SlingBox, DVR or gaming console to an Ethernet network without using Wi-Fi or running cables throughout your house. The SlingLink Turbo adapters ship as a pair. You connect the first one to your Internet router and plug into a standard wall AC outlet. The second one also plugs into the power outlet and the Ethernet-based device of your choice to bridge the network using power lines in the walls of your home.

The SlingLink Turbo is available in two models, the SlingLink Turbo 1, which features a single Ethernet port, and the SlingLink Turbo 4, which has four Ethernet ports to connect multiple devices.

Both SlingLink Turbo adapters are available immediately and retail for $100 and $150 for the Turbo 1 and Turbo 4, respectively.
