AT&T and Apple stores will begin selling the phone in late June, as promised.
On June 29th prospective buyers will finally be able to swipe plastic for the new Apple iPhone. The company made the date official in advertisements aired on Sunday night. These are also available now on Apple's own Web site.
Beyond the release date, which comes at the end of the spots, Apple also takes some time to show off some of the niceties of the graphical interface. At first look, there didn't appear to be anything new featured in the ads, though that didn't mean we were any less impressed by what we were seeing.
infoSync World will have plenty of exclusive special coverage of the iPhone launch, followed shortly by hands-on impressions and our full review series for the device. In the meantime, now that the line in the sand has been drawn, we see plenty of interesting, upcoming events in the world of consumer electronics, so watch this space, it is going to be a busy month.
