The BlackBerry 8300 will be debuting on AT&T's lineup tomorrow, featuring a slim design, a 2-megapixel camera and a slew of multimedia features.
Hot off the heels of the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition handset release on Verizon Wireless, AT&T announced that tomorrow it will be unleashing the BlackBerry 8300, also known as the Curve. The Curve is the lightest and slimmest full QWERTY BlackBerry at 3.9 ounces and 4.2 by 2.4 by 0.6 inches, and it sports a curvy silver shell with chrome accents and a trackball. It is also the first BlackBerry to pack in a 2-megapixel camera.
The multimedia feature set continues with an MP3 player, a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth and GPS powered by Telenav. The sleek Curve also features several calling amenities, including push to talk, speaker-independent voice dialing and noise cancelling technology for clearer calls.
The EDGE-only BlackBerry Curve will set you back $200 with a two-year service contract, but you'll also have to remember to factor in data plan costs. The carrier offers an unlimited personal e-mail data package for $30 a month with a voice plan, or a corporate e-mail package for $45 a month. Jet-setters will have to shell out $65 a month for an international e-mail plan.
