Sony Ericsson introduced its HBH-DS980 stereo Bluetooth headset that sports earbuds and a pendant draped in a charcoal gray hue. The glossy pendant features a hidden OLED display that reveals song information and caller ID, but has mirrored finish when inactive. The headset is rather lightweight at just 1 ounce, and Sony Ericsson bundles three sizes of silicon earbuds for a comfortable, secure fit.
The HBH-DS980 also features noise cancelling and echo reduction technology for clearer calls. According to Sony Ericsson, the headset gets about 6 hours of talk-time and the same amount for listening time.
The Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 stereo Bluetooth headset will be available globally by the third quarter of 2007, but there's still no word yet on a price.
