The electronics giant announced four new headphones designed with the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic in mind.
Philips unveiled its Made for Nokia XpressMusic line of headphones, which as the name suggests were designed for the recently announced Nokia 5700 XpressMusic multimedia phone. The line consists of four headphones, SHH9501, the SHH9201, the SHH3201 and the SHH3911, which feature different shapes and designs to suit your style. All the phones sport a simple white and gray finish that matches the sporty style found on the 5700. The SHH9501 has a headband with cans that sit on the ear, and the SHH3201 sports a neckband design. The SHH9201 and the SHH3911 are both earbuds, though the former are in-ear, while the latter has an earloop design.
Though the Philips headphones are geared for use with the Nokia handset, they are compatible with any device featuring a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. Unfortunately, the Philips headphone line does not support Bluetooth, or include a microphone to offer headset capabilities. The Philips SHH9501, SHH9201, SHH3201and SHH3911 headphones will only be available in select countries in Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, Russia, United Kingdom and Spain. There's no word yet on a specific launch date or price.
