The BlackBerry 8300 will be coming to AT&T this spring, featuring a bevy of multimedia and messaging amenities.

RIM unveiled its BlackBerry 8300 messaging phone, also known as the Curve, which will be making its exclusive debut on AT&T this spring. The handset is the company's lightest and thinnest fully QWERTY BlackBerry at 3.9 ounces and 4.2 by 2.4 by 0.6 inches. The Curve gets some fashion advice from its BlackBerry siblings, the Pearl and the 8800, and also includes a trackball, along with a QVGA display and chrome accents.

Like the Pearl, the Curve packs in the multimedia features, including a media player, a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use your own earbuds and stereo Bluetooth support if you're looking to ditch the wires. The Curve also includes the Roxio Media Manager for BlackBerry, which lets you organize and create playlists.

The 8300 features a 2-megapixel camera with flash that uses the handset's full display as the viewfinder. Roxio's Photosuite software was also included to edit images and remove flaws. Pictures can then be shared with loved ones via e-mail, MMS, BlackBerry Messenger, Bluetooth or USB. Like the Pearl and the 8800, the Curve is and EDGE-only device.

The Curve gets down to business, and offers the full suite of BlackBerry messaging features, including a recently added spell checker and dictionary, which can be customized by users for more spelling accuracy. The BlackBerry 8300 also serves up several calling options, such as a speakerphone, noise cancelling technology and speaker-independent voice dialing. The quad-band phone also features a dedicated mute button to quickly put a caller on hold.

The BlackBerry 8300 Curve will be available this spring exclusively on AT&T, but there's still no word on how much it will set you back.
