The inMotion iMV712 has a large LCD screen that allows you to watch the videos on your iPod.
Altec Lansing introduced its inMotion iMV712 iPod sound dock, which features an 8.5-inch LCD screen for video playback. The dock also includes an S-Video output and an RCA input so you can play videos from a camcorder or a VCR. The iMV712 accompanies the video with an integrated 4-inch subwoofer and twin 3-inch speakers. Altec Lansing includes its SFX (Stereo Field Expander) technology, which it claims makes the speakers sound further apart than they actually are.
Though the inMotion iMV712 is geared toward the fifth generation iPod with video, it can fit and charge any iPod with a standard dock connector. The iMV712 will also play songs from most MP3 and MP4 players by using the Aux input jack and the bundled Universal Cradle.
The Altec Lansing inMotion iMV712 will be available this month and should retail for $350.
