We first laid our eyes on the Motorola RAZR maxx Ve back at CTIA Spring 2007, and immediately noticed that it wasn't the same old RAZR. Motorola freshened up the clamshell's look with a curvier profile and a glossy face that reminds us of the KRZR. Like the KRZR, the RAZR maxx Ve features touch-sensitive music controls beneath its external display. The RAZR maxx Ve is a bit bulkier than the traditional RAZR, at 0.6-inches thick and 4 ounces, compared to the RAZR V3m, which is a half-ounce lighter.
Motorola also upgrades some of the features on the RAZR maxx Ve, including a 2-megapixel camera, which features auto-focus and video recording capabilities. The 3G flip phone also includes access to V Cast Music and V Cast Video, as well as GPS service from VZ Navigator. Rounding out the multimedia features are stereo Bluetooth support and microSD memory expansion for up to 2GB.
The Motorola MOTORAZR maxx Ve will be available from Verizon Wireless on April 24, and will retail for $200 with a two-year service contract.
