Small camera manufacturer, DXG, announced its DXG-589V camera/camcorder hybrid that also includes gaming features.
The DXG-589V is hard to classify into a single gadget category, as it packs a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA camcorder, a digital music player, a portable gaming device and a video player. The camcorder records in MPEG-4 format with a resolution of 640 x 480 at 30 frames per second.
The DXG-589V features a 3-inch LCD that flips and swivels for its different functions including a handheld video gaming device. The DXG-589V comes preloaded with 20 2D and 3D games, and includes control keys that look like Playstation buttons from the picture.
The device also features a media player with the ability to directly record from TV, DVD players and VCRs. Music and videos can also be enjoyed using SD cards.
The DXG-589V is available at various retailers, including Best Buy and Circuit City and will set you back $200.
