The California-based accessory company introduced a pair of accessories that save space on your desk.
Belkin announced two accessories that were designed to fit into the grommet holes of your desk. The first is the In-Desk Dock for iPod that sports a cylindrical design with an iPod dock connector in the center. The Belkin dock is compatible with both generations of the iPod nano, the first generation mini and the last two generations for the iPod. The dock fits into a 3-inch desk grommet and will charge your iPod, as well as sync it to your computer. The In-Desk Dock for iPod also features a stereo-out jack so you can rock out using your stereo, headphones or powered speakers.
Belkin also introduced the In-Desk USB Hub (image gallery), which fits into either a 2-inch or 3-inch grommet hole in your desk and has three to four USB ports. The USB Hub supports both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices, and according to Belkin, it has transfer speeds up to 480Mbps.
Both the In-Desk Dock for iPod and the In-Desk USB Hub will be available in May and should retail for $40.
