This Bluetooth receiver/transmitter works on the A2DP profile to pair your music phone or digital audio player to your home theater, or your home theater to a pair of stereo Bluetooth headphones.
Kyocera recently unveiled its Bluetooth Music Gateway receiver/transmitter. The device acts as a bridge between your home theater and your stereo Bluetooth-enabled phone. The Gateway connects to your home theater system using a standard RCA cable so you can listen to the music that's on your phone using your home theater's speakers. The Gateway can also work with your digital audio player using Kyocera's Bluetooth adaptor that fits into a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Kyocera Gateway will also allow users to pair their home theaters or TVs to a pair of stereo Bluetooth headphones so you can quietly watch your favorite show or listen to music without disturbing others.
The Kyocera Bluetooth Music Gateway is a rather petite device at 3.4 by 2.9 by 0.8 inches, and can sit vertically or horizontally. The Gateway should be available by the end of April and will cost $80 or $100 with the Bluetooth adaptor.
